Privacy policy

Red Crest Works is a business name of Red Crest Ventures LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect through redcrestworks.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. What we collect

  • What you send us through the contact form: your name, email address, business name and what you'd like help with, plus your phone number and any other details you choose to add.

  • Basic technical information that any website receives when you visit, such as your browser type, device, the pages you view and an approximate location based on your IP address. Our website host collects this to run and protect the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it and, if you accept cookies, LinkedIn to see the general mix of companies and job roles among our visitors (see section 5).

We don't ask for payment details, government ID numbers or other sensitive information on this site. Please don't include them in the form.

2. How we use it

  • To reply to your message and set up a call you asked for.

  • To prepare for that call and, if you become a client, to deliver the work you hired us for.

  • To keep the site running, secure and working properly.

We don't sell your personal information. If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, LinkedIn's cookies let us show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited this site. Some state laws call this "sharing" personal information for advertising. You can say no by clicking "Reject", or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.

3. Email from us

We email you about your request or the work you've hired us for. If we ever send anything else, you can opt out at any time by replying or writing to Contact@RedCrestWorks.com.

4. Who else handles it

We work with a small number of companies that receive information so we can run this site, our email and our advertising:

  • Framer, which hosts this website and delivers form submissions to us.

  • Google Workspace, which hosts our email.

  • Google Analytics, which measures how visitors use this site.

  • LinkedIn, which shows us what kinds of companies visit this site, measures our LinkedIn ads and shows those ads to people who've visited this site. We load it only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner (see section 5).

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is sold or reorganized, the information may transfer with it under this policy.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use this site: which pages are viewed, how people arrive, and their general location (city or region) and type of device. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. We don't use it to identify you, and we've turned off its advertising features. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

If you click "Accept" on our cookie banner, we also load the LinkedIn Insight Tag. It sets cookies that let LinkedIn show us, in aggregate, what kinds of companies and job roles visit this site, count visitors who contact us after seeing our LinkedIn ads, and show our ads on LinkedIn to people who have visited this site. LinkedIn doesn't tell us who you are. It handles this data under its own privacy policy: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

If you click "Reject", or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we don't load the LinkedIn tag. We save your choice in your browser so we don't ask again. You can change it at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. This site doesn't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless you become a client. For clients, we keep records as long as needed for the work and for our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, send you a copy, correct it or delete it, unless we need to keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons. Write to Contact@RedCrestWorks.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on the state where you live, that state's laws may give you additional privacy rights. We'll honor the requests those laws let you make.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can access it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can't guarantee it.

9. Children

This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
